We may have only ranked 10th at the Olympics (2012), but in ASOS’s eyes we are #1! ASOS has just released its first Spring/Summer 2013 “In Your World” collection exclusively for Australia, a world first for the online mega retailer! I feel obliged to follow this statement with an Aussie, Aussie, Aussie! Oi, Oi, Oi! (how embarrassing...)

ASOS x PUMA
ASOS X PUMA has earned its place as one of our top 5 collabs for 2012. The menswear collection dawns an 'urban sport' athletic edge and addresses all the hype of the 'sports luxe trend' with minimalism and high end detailing.

MARIUS PETRUS
Purveyors of all things minimal and european, we've discovered a beautifully crafted and frighteningly minimal label by Belgian designer Marius Op ‘t Eynde. Born in The Netherlands, Marius graudated in 2011 and went on to complete internships at Alexander McQueen and Raf Simon's Studio.

METALLIC MAYHEM
Okay we will admit that lately we have been going a little menswear crazy, but the men are really showing the women how it's done at the moment. Burberry's S/S13 showing was metallics galore and we are loving the futuristic road Burberry is going down. It's almost like the brand has drastically increased all its usual hues and contrasts and this is the result. It is incredibly London chic and something we can only dream about, but for now at least we can can swoon over the images.
KING HENRY THE GREAT
"I want to present the brand, not the collection."
-Guillaume Henry
Creative director of the Carven brand, Guillaume Henry has taken the ideal of classic menswear and transformed it into a whole new dimension. The S/S13 quirky yet undeniably cool showing of the collection was presented in a Florentine Velodrome, and consisted of models strutting down running tracks, with some even taking to cycling.

THE HAPPIEST CABIN
We’re just going to say it: true uniqueness is hard to discover. However, the PITCH team found this little gem tucked away at the end of Vulture st in West End on a cold winter evening trek. Stepping into The Happy Cabin encompasses one in a homely illuminative glow as you drink in the worldly aesthetics may very well satisfy the appetite of Brisbane fashion-forwards seeking different and cool labels. Stocking for the lads and the ladies, we discovered brands like Latvia, Mr Simple and Lola Vs Harper. Additionally, their catalogue of amazing foreign labels, especially for jewellery and footwear, ensure that the space is a one-off Brisbane experience.

THE BRAND BEFORE TIME
The PITCH team is going wild over Extinct’s 2012 men’s range.
The Melbourne label will go down in history for its clean, tailored designs and edgy adaptations of classic items.
The collection is a combination of stripes and neutrals colours, well-cut, oversized tees and printed button-ups.
All items are teamed with beige trousers and fitted jeans.

Just imagine the slightly nerdy boy-next-door builds a time machine
and lands in the summer of 1950, creating a delectable assemblage of wardrobe must-haves …
