King of cool Alexander Wang released his ultra chic Resort 2013 line in an exclusive preview to a crowded room of buzzing editors and the ultimate fashion elite. Oh what we would have given to be a fly on the wall in that room!
Once again the line proves that black is well the new black, and that less is definitely more. Cutouts make a major appearance in the collection, and give that typical Alexander Wang edge.
Each look in the collection is polished head to toe and topped off with chunky black shoes that feature a killer white heel. The line is lighter and crisper then previous collections, and the white and beige ensembles add femininity which balances out the expected elements of grunge. We are obsessed with the tailored pants, knit sweaters and layering. What else can we say? Perfection.
