SECRET SPACES

Whilst browsing around Brunswick Street in Brisbane I stumbled upon the Edwina Corlette Gallery space. It must have been my lucky day because the VEXTA exhibition was still on and I had been swooning over the psychedelic, geometric crystal prints for a while. Needless to say it did not disappoint and neither did the minimalist, chic gallery space.

It is a fairly simple and discreet space, allowing the viewer a very personal experience, but what it lacks in room it definitely makes up for in art. The gallery represents selected Australian artists and is always hosting something amazing, whether it is a group or solo exhibition, an artist talk or a collaboration. Out tip is to subscribe to the Edwina Corlette mailing list for updates on whats coming up, it will keep you in the 'art community' loop as well as giving you something to look forward to after a long, dragging week of uni. The PITCH team will no doubt become fairly regular visitors,  as we are so thrilled with our latest discovery of this hidden treasure.  So If you happen to be in the New Farm area be sure to pop in for an indulgent browse, it will surely inspire.
